Because I'm such a hardcore girl group stan and don't exactly update this blog full-time any longer, I often miss out on sharing my boy band faves with everyone. I think y'all know by now that I'm ride or die for TVXQ and B.A.P, and that I love me some VIXX, INFINITE, BIGBANG, and SHINee, but it's been a while since I introduced my new faves to anyone.
Jai Paul rocks and I can't begin to tell you how much I've played his two lone singles and one unauthorized album, but homeboy doesn't release nearly enough music to keep the fans satisfied. I know, quality over quantity, but c'mon. If his album hadn't accidentally leaked we'd literally have just two Jai Paul tracks in the space of two or three years. Anyway, the drought issue is now pretty much solved because a Jai Paul clone named Ben Khan has now emerged on the scene to fill the musical void.
When you punch Ivy Levan's name into Google images, a number of different personas will come up. There's the hipster rock chick, the striking model, and the old selfies from the aspiring MySpace artist. But none of them hold a candle to Ivy's latest incarnation as The Dame, who falls somewhere between a Frank Miller femme fatale and a retro rockabilly princess.
With a pregnant Kate Middleton ready to pop at any second, now is a good time for Kate Boy to be out: Anybody trawling the web for the sex of the royal heir with a simple "kate boy" Google search will be treated to a handful of results linking to the buzzed-about Swedish synth-pop group. It's a perfect case of accidental cross-promotion.
