Remember 4L? Of course you do. The raggedy girl group earned a tonne of attention last year when they attempted to outdo STELLAR with the release of the thrusting, gyrating, lesbonic music video for their debut single, “Move” (which was actually a legitimately good song).

Although they didn’t reach STELLAR’s level, their x-rated stunt worked, with “Move” racking up over six million views on YouTube and earning 4L tonnes of attention–including a performance on Inkigayo, countless concert bookings, and a spread in men’s military magazine Him.

Sadly they haven’t been heard from since “Move” mania died down, and now it looks like the four ladies have become three.

Gangnam unnie Yeseul has quite the group to debut as a soloist–with an innocent new image!

The untainted angel is draped in pure white in the promotional photos for her first single, “I’m In Love,” which is the kind of whimsical k-indie coffee shop slush you’ve heard a thousand times before.

The upgraded Virgin Mary is also throwing shade at her former sinful life in 4L, claiming it wasn’t really her and was just something she did out of desperation–you know, like when you’re late paying the rent so you offer to blow the sweaty old Armenian landlord so he’ll give you a few more days to get your money right.

I felt like I was dressed in something that wasn’t me and it made working hard for me,” Yeseul told Star News as the soft glow from her halo illuminated her delicate face. “I did not want to resort to such things any longer and decided staying in the company held no future for me. That’s why after thinking long and hard, I left the team. The company wasn’t forcing anything on me but to survive, it was just something I had to do. The reality of the situation made me regret a lot of things. I thought to myself multiple times, ‘do I really have to resort to such matters.’ on multiple occasions.

The wholesome songstress added, “I feel like I’m starting over. I wish people would view me as a rookie and think well of me. I don’t really like sexy and it was uncomfortable for me. I felt more comfortable recording the new song ‘I’m in love’.”

Yo Yeseul, I’m really happy for you, I’ma let you finish, but 4L had one of the best videos of all time! Of ALL TIME.
