When I saw the preview of Gwen Stefani’s “Baby Don’t Lie” music video yesterday, I remarked that it looked like a fancy commercial for her L.A.M.B clothing line or Harajuku Lovers fragrances.
It turns out I was wrong. It’s actually a commercial for the iPhone Sux and Puma sneakers.
WHAT IS HAPPENING RIGHT NOW?
First Gwen drops a Nicole Scherzinger leftover as her big comeback single, then she releases this HSN promo for the music video.
I could actually respect this MV if Gwenny was plugging one of her own products because at least those are a genuine extension of her brand and creativity. But to shill for Apple and Puma? Girl.
She couldn’t even do it in a funny way either, like Hilary Duff’s iconic Amazon Fire Phone from “All About You.”
