I didn’t realize that Keyshia Cole was still popular enough to get an endorsement deal with Steve Madden — especially after her Super Bowl blunder. You know, the one in which Kween Key-Key kept it 100% REAL by saying exactly what we ALL know to be true, yet the DUMMIES couldn’t handle Ms. Cole’s sermon of TRUTH. I love Michelle Williams, but to try and DENY that the clumsy bitch is always “fuckN the groove up” is a straight lie and y’all know it.
ANYWAY, I see Keyshia stays getting money with her bougie new Steve Madden shoe line. I found these photos over at the Toyaz World blog, and I think she can sum this luxurious line up better than I can.
“For his collection, she has designed an affordable line of shoes so that her fans won’t need to save up for 5 years, or just plain out steal just to buy into her hood couture.”
“I’m looking at some of the shoes and can see that the Shaniqua’s and Booquisha’s of the world will absolutely love them. Younger girls that club a lot will snap them up in a heart beat. They’re not my style but I guess I could see my younger sister rocking a pair.”
I actually thought the shoes looked cute, but then I checked out some individual promo shots and realized that they are a lil’ RATCHET. Very House of Dereon circa 2005.
In other news, Kween Key-Key has confirmed that she’s currently working on her sixth studio album. It’s been described as a, “how-to guide for keeping a man,” so it’s definitely the kind of album I need in my life right now.
Colegend’s last two albums flopped, so fingers crossed that the next one does better and contains more songs as perfect and amazing as “I Remember,” “I Changed My Mind,” and “Trust.”Tags: Keyshia Cole
