Here’s the official artwork for Lady GaGa’s new single, “Applause.”
I’d like it better if it wasn’t a photo of GaGa with paint all over her face to promote an album called ARTPOP.
Anyway, here’s what GaGa has to say about the song.
“I’ll tell you that it is very fun,” she says. “And that it’s full of happiness, because what I’m saying in the song essentially is that I live for the applause. I live for the way you cheer and scream for me. Give me that thing that I love. Put your hands up, make them touch.”
You can read more of GaGa and her team talking about “Applause” and ARTPOP and fashion and whatnot over at WWD.
“Applause” was co-written with DJ White Shadow and drops on August 19.
